Conditions of Letting

Please read the following conditions before making a reservation. You can make a reservation at the bottom of the page. Thank you.

  1. Definitions:

The Guests means all persons entered on the completed booking form.

The Property means 4 Cliffside, Aberdovey, Gwynedd.

The Owner means Colin Edwards.

  1. Use of The Property:

  2. The property is rented to the guest solely for the use of private holiday accommodation. Only persons named as guests can stay in the property. The property may not be sublet to any other persons. The property may not be used for any private or 'public' social gathering. Any infringement of the use of the property will result in immediate termination of the rental.

  3. Occupancy:

  4. The property may not be occupied by more than the stated maximum of eight (8) persons except babies under 12 months sleeping in a travel cot or by prior arrangement with the owner.

  5. Cancellation by the Owners:

  6. The owners reserve the right to refuse or to cancel any booking, in which case all monies paid will be refunded to the guest. The liabliity of the owner will be limited only to that money paid by the guest.

  • Cancellation by the Guest:

  • A cancellation by the guest must be notified in writing. The guest will incur the following cancellation charges:

  • Up to 6 weeks prior to the commencement............Forfeit deposit

  • 42-28 days before the commencement................50% of the holiday cost

  • 27-15 days before commencement.....................75% of the holiday cost

  • 14-0 days before commencement......................100% of the holiday cost

  • Condition of the Property:

    Guests will be expected to keep the property in a clean and tidy condition. It may be possible to arrange a cleaner (at an extra charge) during your stay- please ask for details.

  • Personal Possessions:

  • Please note that your personal possession are left in the property entirely at your own risk.

  • Inventory and key Deposit:

  • Guests will be responsible to pay for any breakages or damage to the property. A refundable deposit of £30 is payable on arrival. A full inventory is in the house file in the property. Please advise the owner as soon as possible if any item is missing or if you have a mishap.

  • Tariff:

  • The prices shown are fully inclusive of all electricity, gas and heating. Bed linen and house towels are also included. Guests must bring their own beach towels.

    Pets:

    We regret the property is not suitable for pets.

  • Arrival and Departure:

  • Friday Lets:

    On the day of your arrival the property will be available for your occupation from 4pm. At the end of your holiday please ensure you are ready to leave by 10:30am to allow for cleaning.

  • Short Breaks:

  • Short breaks run from 12 noon to 12 noon,

  •  FRI/SAT/SUN and MON/TUES/WED and TUES/WED/THURS. Weekend lets by arrangement
