For the perfect holiday...

Cliffside's history

Cliffside was built by my great grandmother and has remained in our family ever since.  The four storey house was home to my Uncle, Hugh Meirion Lewis, for all of his 92 years.  He was the local historian and has written many books on Aberdovey which are available to read during your stay.  He was also extremely active locally in politics and societies, and was awarded the MBE for his services to his beloved village.  His wife Nancy, and my aunt, Dora, also lived at Cliffside and opened the fashion shop Nandora's, still flourishing to this day. They all loved to sit in the windows at Cliffside enjoying the ever changing panorama- I hope you will too!

The rooms afford spectacular views across the bay and cliffs. As this is also our home, the house is furnished accordingly with some of our family antiques and paintings. We are currently under assessment for 5* rating with the Welsh Tourist Board.

We regret Cliffside is not suitable for pets or children under five, and persons under the age of 21 must be accompanied by older adults!
